A filter element is an object used to filter impurities. The filtering effect varies depending on the level of the filter element. Commonly used filters include PP cotton, primary filter element, activated carbon filter element, ultrafiltration membrane, RO membrane filter element, etc. During the use of the filter element, it is necessary to regularly replace it with a new one. When replacing the filter element of a water purifier, it is necessary to pay attention to checking the length of the filter element. When placing the filter element, it is necessary to place it in the correct position. The replaced filter element needs to be cleaned before use. Below is a detailed introduction for everyone.
1、 Grade of filter element
1. Primary filter element: PP cotton, a primary filter element that filters large particulate matter such as rust, sediment, leaves, etc. As the first barrier, PP cotton intercepts a large amount of material and has a relatively short lifespan. Generally, the three functions require replacement once.
2. The second level filter element: activated carbon filter element, which mainly targets gas pollution, such as residual chlorine and chemical residual gases, and has a strong adsorption effect. Therefore, for the first time, the elimination of gases depends on it. The service life is six months.
3. Third stage filter element: ultrafiltration membrane. This filter element is generally used in ultrafiltration water purifiers and reverse osmosis water purifiers, with better purification accuracy compared to the first two. The purified tap water meets the needs of kitchen washing and cooking, and can intercept substances with a precision of 0.01 micrometers or more in the tap water.
4. Fourth level filter element: RO membrane filter element. This filter element has the highest accuracy, reaching 0.0001 micrometers, and can intercept even small bacteria. Therefore, purified tap water allows us to drink without heating or boiling. Due to its high accuracy, protection is relatively necessary.
5. Fifth stage filter element: rear activated carbon. Mainly a filter element that changes the taste of water quality, also known as a taste factor. This type of filter has a relatively longer lifespan and is replaced once a year.
2、 Precautions for replacing the water purifier filter element
1. Check the length of the filter element: Compare the length of the new and old filter cores. If the length of the new filter core is insufficient, it can be solved by adding a rubber pad. The rubber pad can be removed from the old filter core) (The rubber pad can be removed from the old filter core)
2. When placing the filter core in a household reverse osmosis pure water machine, it is important to pay attention to placing the filter core correctly, especially when PP is prone to being misaligned. When twisting the filter bottle, it should be felt by the touch, as it can be easily misaligned if not twisted. When twisting the filter bottle, it should be felt by the touch. The water flow direction is marked on the small T33. It is marked with the direction of water flow.
3. After the installation of the filter core of the pure water machine accessory, it needs to be flushed before it can be connected to the subsequent system. During flushing, the pipeline connecting to the next level should be disconnected. The ultrafiltration water purifier only needs to be flushed after the installation of the filter core before it can be connected to the subsequent system. During flushing, the pipeline connecting to the next level needs to be disconnected. The inlet ball valve needs to be opened to flush, and the inlet ball valve needs to be opened to flush. The flushing time should be at least 5 minutes. After flushing, it should be connected to the lower level treatment system.
